History

The company was founded by Martin Gehring and Roland Leutwiler in 1995. GL Funds started with few assets under management but with a wealth of entrepreneurial ideas. Since then, GL Funds has established itself as one of the leading providers of alternative investment products. As such, the interaction of creativity and discipline formed the basis of an exceptional success story.

Over the decades GL Funds has developed further together with the markets, most recently by way of affiliation with Eucalyptus Invest AG. This decision enabled GL Funds to launch its single hedge fund business as an addition to its already established funds of funds business and now sees it managing an advanced macro hedge fund via the Eucalyptus Relax Fund.
